Day at the Beach

Our 2nd day for the new year was a scorching hot day. a high of 40C and it drove everyone nuts.

hubs took the kids out to the sea and we have a nice big tent borrowed from our neighbour.

the kids were very excited to go to the sea, we packed lunches, lots of cold drinks and junk food.

we went to a nearby beach at Chelsea. when we got there there was already a crowd just chilling out at the beach. i think we were the only people that is fully clothed top down. haha.

this time didi was the brave one, he paddled in the beach without fussing and even went quite deep with hubs and his cousins. Joel was the scared one and only played at the edge. he was just afraid to get wet and dirty.. wonder where he got that part of the genes from :)

they played and played and the water was nice and cold which helps cool them down. we spend a couple of good hours there and then went back home.

Earle gave us a grape tree over Christmas and we finally planted it. Thanks to shua for digging the hole to put the tree in.
he has been very good a digging recently.:)

we had a wonderful day with everyone yesterday. they will be going back tomorrow and we will be back to our routine life again. sigh...
