My parents arrived on early Friday morning. I went to pick them up and they are so happy to see the kids.
Popo immediately played with the kids and smothered them with lots of hugs and kisses. The kids are now spoilt rotten by both set of grandparents.

Our house has never felt so full and happy. I totally love it.
It was Joel's actual birthday on Friday. We had a Korean bbq and steamboat just us family.

Started with the Korean BBQ.

Birthday boy in his comfy clothes. Can't be bothered dressing up as it is in our own house and everyone just want to be comfortable.

Hubs getting into action.

Family shot outside our house.

My house is now a hawker place. PIL build a outside cooking stove to cater for our Chinese cooking. So we avoid having to clean up so much inside.

Family having a good time, eating and catching up.

Popo busy feeding the boys.

so great to have mom here feeding them :)

Joel whacking the bbq beef.

Another family shot

with more eating

the kids were playing at the trampoline shortly after dinner. the trampoline has never been so heavily utilised.

Sizzling beef .. the kimchi was so good. we finished the whole tub

after having outdoor bbq, we went inside for more food.

we had the best steamboat soup. FIL put 6 chicken carcas in the soup. it was just so sweet and tasty. I lost count how many bowls i had

After dinner, we let Joel blow his cake again. This time i made a simple cheesecake but i forgot to line the tin and the whole biscuit base was stuck to the bottom. hehe

we put on the magic candle where it never dies. the poor boy was huffing and puffing trying to out out the candles

a family shot :)

Right after he blew the candles, the lighted again. :)
he had a good time with it but i think the cake was filled with his saliva.. yucks :)

Making a wish again.

more family pics

and more...

and more..

and that's it.
Happy 5th Birthday my darling Joel :)
